Bag Styles & Body Construction
Panel, tubular, baffle and loop body choices
Choose the body structure that controls bag shape, filling stability, stacking behavior and container loading efficiency.

Cross-corner FIBC bulk bags feature a heavy-duty packaging architecture engineered for materials with high bulk density and strict safety requirements under dynamic transit conditions. Unlike standard corner-seam bags, the lifting loops of a cross-corner bag are stitched directly into the body fabric panels away from the seams, curving over the corners of the bag.
To prevent vertical distortion and bottom sagging under payloads of 1.5 to 2.5 tons, this configuration integrates a perimeter webbing reinforcement (perimeter band) and a cross-pattern base layout (perimeter base reinforcement). This matrix distributes the heavy tensile stress across the entire bottom fabric plane, maintaining structural squaring and ensuring safe forklift prong insertion without tearing the loop-to-fabric interfaces.

| Mechanical Feature | Cross-Corner with Base Reinforcement | Standard Corner-Seam FIBC |
|---|---|---|
| Loop Attachment Point | Stitched onto the body panels, away from seams | Stitched directly into the corner vertical seams |
| Loop Posture (Empty) | Stands open automatically for forklift prongs | Tends to flatten against the bag top |
| Bottom Geometry | Stays flat due to the perimeter cross-grid | Tends to belly downward (sag) under heavy loads |
| Maximum SWL Capacity | Up to 2,500 kg with high dynamic shock safety | Typically limited to 1,000 kg - 1,500 kg |
Corner-seam loops are pinched together within the vertical junction seams of the bag panels, which forces the loop webbing to lay flat when empty. Cross-corner loops are stitched flat onto the face of adjacent panels across the corner apex. The natural rigidity of the heavy-duty webbing forces the loops to arch upward, allowing forklift operators to hook the bag without manual intervention.
When a bag holds over 1.5 tons of material, the downward vertical force concentrates at the center of the bottom panel. The perimeter and cross-woven webbing act like a structural cradle. It transfers the central load horizontally out to the vertical lifting bands, preventing the bag from stretching into a teardrop shape that causes tilting on warehouse shelves.
Yes. We can integrate multi-layer aluminum foil liners inside cross-corner bags. The high-tensile outer PP bag and the cross-base grid provide the mechanical strength needed for lifting 2 tons, while the internal aluminum liner isolates sensitive chemical materials from oxygen and humidity.
